This is the Introduction to 2D CAD & CAM course. This course is not a prerequisite for our CNC machine authorizations, but is a very useful tool to help you learn the very basics of how to create with a CNC machine.

The 2D CAD course is useful for folks who do not know nor want to learn a 3D CAD application and are comfortable with or would prefer to learn such packages as Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, etc.

The goal of this course is to get you comfortable with 2D CAD to prepare you for the Shapeoko/X-Carve and ShopBot CNC routers.
